COVID-19 Entry Requirements for Turkey (UPDATED 2022)

Despite this pandemic criss, Turkey is open for tourism. Turkey eVisa are being approved on a daily basis. If you have not applied for your visa online yet you can do it here. Before preparing your travel arrangements, we recommend to read this article carefully.

Please be aware that COVID measures can change anytime without any warning. Therefore, we recommend to check for updates before travelling.

Do I need to be fully vaccinated to travel to Turkey?

It is not neccessary to be fully vaccinated to enter to Turkey

However, if you are fully vaccinated, you can enter to Turkey without need to test or to quarantine. The vaccine must be must be approved by the Turkish Ministry of Health or World Health Organization. The last dose must have been occurred in the least fourteen days before the date of entry.

If you are not fully vaccinated, you will be required to provide a PCR test (taken in the last 72 hours before entrance) or an antigen test (taken in the last 48 hours), or evidence of a recent recovery from COVID in the last 6 months.

In any case, please be aware that any travellers can be subjected to test if he presents if you have symptoms of COVID, including temperature checks.

You also need to complete a COVID-19 Entry Form

All travellers must complete the COVID Entry Form to Turkey, whether they are vaccinated or not. This form is compulsory and it may be requested at the point of entry.

This form has been created by the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Health in order to promote safe travel to Turkey and to provide visitors with realible and up-to-date information about COVID and health-measures.

Also, using this form, visitors will be reached easily if they come into touch with a positive COVID-19 case: for example, it will allow health authorities to warn you if a passenger seated next to you tests positive.

How complete COVID-19 Entry Form

You will need to enter to the Official Website Form for Entry to Turkey, a website created by the Minister of Health of Turkey, and provide the following information:

  1. Personal basic information: Name, surname, gender, passport number.
  2. Information about your entry: date of travel, address of accomodation and entrance type (airplane, road, seaway). If you enter by air, you need to provide your airline company and flight number.
  3. List of countries visited in the past 10 days.

The whole process should take less than 5 minutes, and you will be able to immediately download your Covid-19 Entry Form in PDF. It is recommended to print out this document to provide it in the border.

This website is available in English, French, Polish, Spanish, German, Italian, Turkish and Arabic.

Although the process is very easy, you need to be careful to provide accurate information, as false or misleading information can face judicial and administratives sanctions. Also it can prevent you from entering to Turkey.

When do I need to apply for the COVID Entry Form?

All travellers need to complete this Form in the last 72 hours before entering the country.
